My Introduction Blog

Hello, My name is Michael and I'm excited to begin this project. Now for some updates about myself. Lately, I find myself engaging in hobbies less and less because I have less time. I haven't been playing any videos games or watching any new shows, other than the tv show 'Euphoria'. The only thing new in my life is that I'm listening to much more music than usual. Lately, it has been artists like Bjork, Mitski, and Phoebe Bridgers. Other than that, the school has been keeping me busy as of late. Whether it's poor time management or not I don't know, but I do know that I am excited about this project.
I also decided to list the things I've learned from the last two projects. This is in order to make sure I really learned my lesson and improved over time. First of all, I want to make more in-depth and concise storyboards. I want to hit all the angles and scenes that I planned out to convey the messages I want. I also want to diversify or even create settings for this project for it to really be immersive. Playing more with costume and props and transitions would also be something I would do more throughout this project
I am the most excited for this Final Task because it will be the opening sequence to a movie. This means I will get to play around with dialogue and acting more. I find character creation profoundly more exciting than anything else. This project also allows for more conceptual creativity in terms of setting and plot. I find this to be my favorite part about filming projects. In addition, that conceptual factor creates more room for intricate costumes accurate to the time the opening sequence takes place in. Researching the conventions of certain genres are also interesting to me. Although I haven't been watching as many movies or tv shows recently; I have always been interested in what goes into making a genre. I will most likely research genres like thriller or horror.
